How to extract pages from a PDF
- Select your PDF or drop it onto the page. Thumbnails of every page appear.
- Click the pages you want to keep, or type page numbers and ranges such as 2, 5-8.
- Choose whether to save the selection as one PDF or as separate files.
- Click extract and download the result.
When extracting pages is useful
- Sending only the relevant pages of a long contract or report.
- Saving the signature page, a receipt or a payslip from a larger statement.
- Pulling a single chapter out of an e-book or course pack for printing.
- Removing confidential sections by keeping only the pages that can be shared.
Select pages visually
Page thumbnails make it easy to spot the right pages even when the printed page numbers don't match the file's own numbering. Click to select or deselect, or type ranges when you already know the numbers. Selected pages are copied unchanged into the new document: text remains selectable, images keep their resolution and links within the pages continue to work.
Thumbnails are rendered as you scroll, so even long documents with hundreds of pages stay responsive. On a phone, tap pages to select them.
Your original stays untouched
Extraction creates a new PDF and never modifies the file you uploaded. Everything happens in your browser, so even sensitive statements are never sent to a server. If you want the opposite, keeping everything except a few pages, use Delete PDF Pages; to break the whole document into parts, use Split PDF.
