Typical uses

  • Saving HTML invoices, receipts and order confirmations as PDFs for your records.
  • Turning a report or newsletter exported as HTML into a printable document.
  • Archiving documentation or saved web pages in a format that opens anywhere.
  • Producing PDFs from HTML templates you created yourself.

HTML to PDF is useful for saving invoices, receipts or reports exported as web pages, keeping their layout in a single shareable file.

Getting a faithful result

The HTML is rendered by your own browser, so standard layouts and CSS styles come out as they would on screen. For the best results, use a self-contained file: CSS in the file itself and images embedded or available alongside it. Browsers block access to some external resources for security reasons, so images, fonts or scripts loaded from other websites may be missing from the PDF.

This tool converts HTML files you provide. It does not fetch live web pages by address; to capture a website, save the page as HTML in your browser first, or use the browser's own print-to-PDF feature.
