How to convert JPG to PDF
- Select one or more JPG images, or drop them onto the page.
- Drag the images into the order you want the pages to appear.
- Choose the page size (for example A4, Letter or the image's own size), orientation and margins.
- Click convert and download your PDF.
Photos and scans into documents
JPG is the format phones and most scanners use for photos, which makes this the quickest way to turn pictures of paperwork into something you can email or upload: receipts for an expense claim, pages of a signed contract, ID documents for an application, or class notes photographed on a whiteboard. Each image becomes a page, in the order you choose.
JPG to PDF is also the quickest way to send several phone photos of a document as one file, for example for a job or visa application.
Page size and layout tips
- A4 or Letter pages look like a normal printed document and suit forms and portals that expect standard sizes.
- Fit to image makes each page exactly the size of its photo, with no borders, which is good for photo collections.
- Margins add a white border, useful if the PDF will be printed.
- Photos are placed at their full resolution. If the PDF ends up too large for an upload limit, run it through Compress PDF, or shrink images first with Compress JPG.
Orientation and privacy
Photos taken in portrait or landscape are read using the orientation stored by your camera, so they appear the right way up. Images containing IDs or personal information never leave your device, because the PDF is built in your browser. Have PNG screenshots or WebP images too? PNG to PDF and WebP to PDF handle those formats.
Frequently asked questions
Can I combine many JPGs into one PDF?
Yes. Add up to 30 images at a time; each becomes one page in the order shown.
Will my photos lose quality?
They are placed at full resolution. Compress the PDF afterwards if you need a smaller file.
Can I make a separate PDF for each image?
Yes, if you choose that option instead of combining them into one document.
Why is my photo sideways?
Most photos carry orientation information that is applied automatically. If an image still appears sideways, rotate it first with Rotate Image.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The PDF is created in your browser.
